pyfli.simulator.calibration.pixel_selection

Separate sample pixels from pixels that only record detector noise / background.

Functions

_otsu(values[, nbins])	Otsu threshold (skimage.filters.threshold_otsu) and separability eta = between-class / total variance.
select_signal_pixels(decay[, user_mask, ...])	Returns (mask, report).

select_signal_pixels(decay, user_mask=None, criteria=None, adc_ceiling=None)

Returns (mask, report). report records how many pixels each test removed, the background bins and the per-bin background level, for the calibration log.

Parameters:

• decay (ndarray)

• user_mask (ndarray | None)

• criteria (PixelSelectionCriteria | None)

• adc_ceiling (float | None)

Return type:

tuple[ndarray, dict]
